Guest guest
Hi Debbie, There is a similar Institute in Springfield, MO. They have really slick ads on TV- smiling doc, ex-patients running, playing golf... What a success place! I often wonder how much of this is 'staged'- using actors like those drug ads do. Remember, the type of doc/facility you go to for help will only offer what THEY have. Sometimes they will refer you to another place if their stuff is very unindicated. Sometimes they just get angry and shoo you out of the office and make you feel bad for wasting their time. It's a real gamble. Have you been to a neurologist yet? Have you been to a pain clinic yet? The thing is, surgery is a last-resort type of thing. I know pain, frustration- all that nasty stuff that goes along with unrelenting pain and docs who don't have a clue of what to do. Unfortunately, we usually have to see many docs over a few years before we find the help we need. All that said, only the person in pain can make the decision of what to do. I hope and pray you get competent, honest med advice. GBY > > Question - is anybody familiar with the Oklahoma Spine and Brain Institute in Tulsa? If so, I'd like to contact you and discuss doctors, treatment plans, etc. Thanks! > > Debbie Dahl > >
