Hi all -

I am now 7 weeks post L2-S1 Laminectomy and Foramenotomy and doing well, still

have no BLT restriction and I had wound issues, as my body rejected some of the

sutures...at 6 weeks the surgeon removed a suture and now it appear to be

healing better. I walk everyday now nearing 3/4 miles twice a day. It am still

on pain meds but I am using them less. I have NO SCIATICA! Amen...but still

have the lower back pain and I am wondering why I did not have him go ahead with

the fusion at L2-S1 also..hoping that lessens, and gets better as I get

stronger... any comments or suggestions especially from anyone who has had

similar surgery is welcomed! Thanks and hoping you all are doing well and are

having pain free time!!

Mark
