Guest guest
400 is an unacceptable number for TSH. If your doctor allowed this to happen, he/she needs to be replaced ASAP. http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/how-to-find-a-good-doc Here's 2 articles you'll find helpful: http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/hashimotos http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/things-we-have-learned/ The following is what I see that works for Hashis, but I bet you are not too familiar with most of it: Desiccated porcine thyroid, dosed by symptoms, to a full replacement dose. Adrenals properly tested/treated, including aldosterone. Tested for gluten intolerance...and addressed. Electrolytes balanced (potassium, sodium, chloride, etc) Vitamin/mineral deficiencies addressed. Underlying iodine deficiency addressed. Thyroid problems can cause serious joint laxity and issues with connective tissue. Also issues with healing!
