Guest guest
Just a short little note.. I am now one day post op from an ACDF 1 level C5/C6 with titanium steel plate and cadaver bone. My arm and nerve pain is gone, the tingling is greatly lessened and my neck pain is different..more an achy pain than the horrendous debilitating pain I had before. I was discharged today at 1pm and am at my in laws to recuperate since my house has stairs between bedroom and bath. My throat is sore and I am not able to swallow much except liquids, but that should pass. I'll keep everyone updated as to my progress. and the gang -- jacdobe@... Guest guest
That is great! When I had my fusion C6 also, I wasn't even awake from anesthesia good and I kept saying " Hey, I can lift my arm and it doesn't hurt! " LOL It was great. I now have pain at C7/8, but it is nowhere near as intense as the one before my surgery. Good luck to you and follow your doctors orders even if you feel like you can do something they say not to!!
