Guest guest
You probably need to learn the glossary of terms we have been using LOL! Thanks to who created these about a year ago: ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 1. putty = goopy mucus lungs produce. Can be coughed up and used to tile bathtubs etc... 2. evil candy = all cortisol-derivative medications but especially prednisone, IV solumedrol etc... 3. extra evil candy = Decadron 4. Super Glue = another word for Xolair 5. Asthma fairy = small critter that waves a magic wand and can make you produce more putty without notice. Also makes you sob. 6. SOB = short of breath 7. Peak flow meter = 1) useful tool to measure lung fxn and track progress of disease or 2) a little toy to play with like a kazoo or 3) a means to amuse pulmonologists/allergists and well-intentioned ER docs. 8. Miracle (that you don't have any problems getting approved by insurance or getting theem to pay for your Xolair.) I just make this one up (grin) Doug
