Guest guest
I have to reply to this, because I see the scamming of the system on a daily basis. I teach in Detroit. These parents do NOTHING to help their kids. They barely get them to school, let alone come for conferences. They don't even wash their clothes. But.....they are always asking me to fill out forms for SS so they can get a supplemental income. They won't even spend it on their kids, but on themselves. I avoid filling them out ---most of us, do. They try to get their kids in Spec. Ed. when they find out it can bring in big bucks. It KILLS me that people who need the funds are denied, when others are scamming the system. What is wrong with our system?? Guest guest
It's a HORRIABLE system that allows these types of things to occur. Medicare won't pay for my Titanium w/c. It's too expensive. UGH!!!!!! I wish I could make it better for all of us! My best to u all!! Em rinninwind@... wrote: I have to reply to this, because I see the scamming of the system on a daily basis. Guest guest
I want to work, I'm used to 40,000 plus a year & nbsp; at least. I love what I do, I just can't do it enough to make a consistant living because of my health. When you boil it down, I'm just asking for my money back. Also I'm asking to live at the poverty level!! Who in their right mind wants that for themselves!!!!!!!!!!!????????? I've worked 34 yrs of my life. If what I & amp; my employers paid in over that time earned even CD rates it would be 1/2 million. But they spend it as soon as it comes in, SS lock box my ass! Guest guest
I am not a Bush fan and I rarely get into discussion about politics...BUT the problems with SS began well before Bush took office. filmfest12 <filmfest12@...> wrote: I must remind you there is no " lockbox on SS " because Al Gore was not elected. Guest guest
I am a registered Repub but Bush is not my fave by a damn site! He spends $ like a drunken sailor. I was in the Navy and was a drunken sailor a couple times so I can use that analogy. The SS problem was in the making the last 3oyrs. Lets look at all the aborted children that were potential taxpayers in the system? Don't go crazy on me I support abortion. Just not as birth control. If it's not legal we will have back alley abortions and dead women. OK I'm done, big govt is not the answer I can't even get SS Dis when I KNOW I'm as deserving as almost anyone. Bill The depressed one the stressed one! I must remind you there is no " lockbox on SS " because Al Gore was not elected. Guest guest
Dear Bill, Again I say, there is power in numbers. Can't a few if not all of us get together and start some calling, e-mailing and letter writing on behalf of Bill here? I'm ready. i only work weekends usually and I do love a good fight. Bill, I am at your disposale, who do you want me to put on my hit list first? One for all and all for one ( borrowed from the three muscuteers, I think or Power Rangers). Terry P.S. Went to my & nbsp; Mom's again & nbsp;today and ended up bring a pitbull puppy home, gee I think I need mental help. The guy I stole it from was going to use it to bait fighting pits. The puppy all skin and bones ran to me, I grabbed her, put her in my oversized bag and ran back to the state line. Now I'm in love with a pit of all things, just last week I was trying to kill one and now tonight I'm sleeping with a tiny bag of bones named Angel. I must remind you there is no " lockbox on SS " because Al Gore was not elected. You are right the SS trust fund money is spent on other things because Bush does not support the lockbox idea.
