Guest guest
Helen, I'm sorry that you still aren't feeling so well. I hope that the appt on the 11th is a good one. I went to a Pain Management dr for a while back in the late 90s and even though he helped me a little bit I just found out something here recently about what he felt about my pain. He said (using a very fancy diagnosis that I looked up) that it was all in my head. I hope that this appt goes better than mine did b/c at the time I went (even though I didn't know that he felt this way until recently) I was on a medicine called Danazol (used to treat endo) and it sure had me in a horrible mood and gave him the depression that I might be depressed. As for me, I'm hanging in there. Still having a lot of pain but will be having a biopsy on the 30th to see what is causing that skin inside of my vagina. I think that it might be endo related somehow. We shall see, and in the mean time I'm still waiting to hear if we got the ok on the Zoladex b/c I have to go back in on Fri to get the next shot. In addition to the continuous pain I've been cramping some (it's lessened a little bit since the visit to the dr last week but I will still have to tell them about it) and still bleeding. It was really light for a while but then it got a little heavier, and I've given myself quite a scare the last few days. The bleeding day before was a mixture of red and gray (I thought that the discharge was finally going back to normal) and then tonight it was red with clots that were chocolate brown instead of black. If I must (and I hope not) I will save some of it Thurs nite to take with me to the dr to have the assistant give it to her so that she can look at it. And I should be getting the results of that culture I hope next week. And if something is brewing they will mail the results to me or at least a note to tell me to call unless the culture is back by Fri (which I doubt b/c it usually takes two weeks). So that's where things stand right now. I hope that you feel better soon. ===== Kristy http://www.geocities.com/sokokl/kristyspersonalpage.html Owner: Endo_Vulvodynia_PCOS Zoladexforendometriosis __________________________________________________

I will try and answer some post's tonight, so bear with me. I'm still not doing very well. I think it is my Degenerative Arthritis in my neck and head causing the problems. Guest guest
Helen, Rheumatoid arthritis is different from osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is the form of arthritis that affects older adults the most. Rheumatoid arthritis is an auto-immune condition like Lupus. I got the book Arthritis for Dummies and it's excellent. I've been living with osteoarthritis since I was 19 years old and the drs thought I had rheumatoid arthritis and then when the x-rays were done it showed just osteoarthritis not rheumatoid arthritis. The damage done by the 2 conditions is different from each other. I hope that this helps you a little bit. I will be answering your post to me in a few minutes but I wanted to answer this as I have osteoarthritis too. ===== Kristy http://www.geocities.com/sokokl/kristyspersonalpage.html Owner: Endo_Vulvodynia_PCOS Zoladexforendometriosis __________________________________________________
Guest guest
helen-when i was dixd with sle in 199o it was such a gift to realize that i wasn't nuts! For yrs I had experienced multiple symptoms and it took an emergency room doc to notice the symptoms and ask if i had ever heard of it. I was a med nurse in a home but none of our residents had experienced it so no, I did not know about it. at least when my ANA turned up positive and the doc gave me the dx I could work properly on feeling better. carol On Wed, 15 Aug 2001 23:12:41 EDT angelbear1129@... writes: I don't have rheumatoid Arthritis, unless Degenerative Arthritis is the same thing??? Guest guest
Hey Friends, I have been so bad about keeping in touch lately. I have been reading your posts whenever I can, but just have not had the time to post back. It seems that so many of us are really struggling right now. I came to the East Coast for a visit about two weeks ago, and within one week I ended up in the hospital. The whole reason I traveled here was to go to the spine clinic. However, I was admitted for heart problems and a heart attack. Now, I am seeing lots of specialists. I have no idea why all of this is happening, but I am just taking it one step at a time. So, I just wanted to appologize for not being in touch. I am still praying for all of you!! May you feel less pain each day, April -- Email2me.... The email service that cares.
