Guest guest
I finally found a surgeon who I'm comfortable doing my surgery. He is going to fuse C5-6, and leave it at that. We spoke about also doing C6-7 which was reccomended by one of the surgeons and I have left it to his judgement. In the waiting room I was speaking for a former patinet Myo is an orthopedic surgeon from NYU hospital in Manhattan, he had similar surgery to what I'm having 4 years ago. He said how he too went for several opinions and was happy with his choice. This to me was a good recomendation. I schedueled it for August 24. Needless to say I'm nervous, but also realize I have no choice. In the short time I wasn't able to scheduel surgery due to my Dad being very sick I went from having a weak bicepts reflex to an absent one. He also thinks that some of my newer problems with my foot is related to my cervical spine even though he said the chances of them improving is 50 50. He thinks I will get l00% of my arm weakness back, which I am happy about. Wishing all a good day, ilene
