Guest guest Posted March 11, 2009 Report Share Posted March 11, 2009 Still feeling under the weather battling this pneumonia bug, I apologize if I have missed replying to any messages. Sometimes I feel pretty good and then all of a sudden it's back to bed again. Ventured down to the local Wal-mart yesterday for a couple of things and wound up standing waiting for the cab to show up for a good 30-40 minutes because of a dispatch error. Woke up this morning feeling like I had tried to run a marathon, so today has been a day of rest, the home healthcare nurse said that my back looked as though it was healing extremely well so that really lifted my spirits. I hope that when I go in for my post-op visit Thursday that the doc can do something to shorten this bug. First time I've ever gotten it. The home oxygen helps but the coughing at times is murder. Coughing after abdominal surgery, at lest one can brace somewhat with a pillow. The back seems impossible. Has anyone had any experience with this?
