Guest guest
Hi. I am basically new to your group and am hoping you can offer a few good suggestions. Had an MRI done to cervical and thoracic spine. Cervical spine definitely has a few issues. The thoracic spine is in great shape. My problem is thought to be caused from cervical spine. I do have spondololisthesis in lumbar with laminectomy and fusion. Most problems I have experienced from the lumbar region radiate downward. My biggest problem at this time is pain in mid-back (?). Doctor is assuming it is muscle tension possibly from cervical spine issue. I am going to try the tens-unit for now. Doctor suggests injection therapy. I have already had a cortizone injection in thoracic spine that did not help at all. Would it be a good idea to try acupuncture or something to that effect first prior to the injection therapy. Any suggestions would be appreciated. BTW I am on muscle relaxants and anti-inflammatory meds and have been for years. Thanks in advance.
