Guest guest
I think this is a good idea! My husband is currently trying to lose weight because it is causing back problems and cholesterol problems. It was very hard for him at first but now that he has stuck to it he is doing great! Stay positive and I keep good thoughts for you > > Alot of clarity can come after indulging in five glasses of wine! I am so tired of this pain and how it is interfereing with my life, so this is what I decided. I am going to take my own treatment in my own hands. Since it seems as if people, ie: doctors, insurance companies, the government and some others have given up on me, I need to take control! > > I am overweight! It is a fact that I have had problems dealing with my weight all my life. Even as a kid I was overweight. I am 35 and have never been skinny! I am going to go on a diet and lose weight! I can't exercise right now due to my back problems and the pain would be too intense, but I am going to strictly watch what I eat! > > I hope if I take some pressure (weight) off of my back then that will help. Guest guest
Dawn, I am with you here. My weight has crept up over the years and then a month and a half on Nortryptilline and I have gone too far. Every time I start to walk on the treadmill, I do great for about a week and then the pain flares up so bad that I am afraid not to go to the ER. That lasts for days to weeks and no gaining ground, or losing lard, as the case may be. So I am with you! No more grazing all day because I am frustrated. No more eating because it is the normal time and no more eating the high fat, high carb diet. I am done. See you in the trenches. Praying we both begin to diminish immediately! Guest guest
I can completely relate. For some reason, Lord only knows why really I have gained 17 pounds in 3 months. I for the life of me, can not understand why. I watch everything I eat and try as a back problem patient to do what I can as far as staying in shape. Walking mainly. No medication change, nothing. As you can tell I am cranky today. LOL Went into the doctor and he spent 1/2 our time talking about the spine and being unstable as extra weight goes on. So I guess I will walk more, eat less and try my best not to end up in the hospital because i tried to do more than I should back wise. Dawn Good Luck with your weight lose remember it is slow going and I reckon after 40 comes on more quickly! (Confused) > > Alot of clarity can come after indulging in five glasses of wine!
