I'm sorry you've heard that too, Laurie. It's a very frustrating

I am very new to fermentation thinking! I am excited to learn and anxious to

start. I have a crock now, and the book Wild Fermentation, also Making

Sauerkraut. The books have alot of information, but fall short in details for

the beginner! There is a picture on page 15 of Making Sauerkraut , that

shows a mixed vegetable medley apparently fermented, but I don't see the exact

instructions how to do it! Is there someone in this group that would be

willing to help me get started by answering a multitude of questions? I would

appreciate your kindness! I just completed chemotherapy. I have changed my

diet and way of thinking about food and what I eat since my diagnosis. I want

to incorporate the fermented vegetables and foods to decrease my chance of

cancer ever coming back!! I appreciate this group and what you believe about

health and wellbeing. Thank you for any help. Sincerely, Jackie

www.eatingoffthefoodgrid.com

And there are some more in the Files section of this group.

You might also check out YouTube ... seeing a video really helps! I hope to

get my kraut video up there one of these days.
