Guest guest Posted September 17, 2010 Report Share Posted September 17, 2010 A friend of mine has had quite a lot of discomfort lately with heartburn, indigestion, gas, and GERD...along those lines. She's taking prescription meds, but they aren't seeming to help. I just suggested she try some digestive enzymes or fermented foods, but I was wondering if any of you have real experience with something that has worked for you? (I only use enzymes after the fact occasionally, if I have heartburn, so I can't really give many suggestions based on my experience.) I don't have a gall bladder and if I'm not really careful about avoiding fats (dairy and chicken fat particularly), it'll feel like I can't process my food.
