Vinegar Mother Question

I was reading the question about the vinegar mother and have a question

(since I know absolutely nothing about vinegar). One year ago this last

Christmas, my mother gave me some wine vinegar with tarragon branches that

she'd made. She said to keep it a few months before using. She died suddenly

last July.

I still have this vinegar. I don't really want to use it (still very much

grieving). Could I use it to make my own vinegar? If so, how do I do this?

It would be healing to be able to use my mother's vinegar as the mother to

my own vinegar.
