Guest guest
Hi, We have had very few members see improvement within 2 months of taking Xolair, so don't be surprised or disappointed if you don't meet your doc's optimistic January deadline. I haven't run the numbers, but I would guess that the average response time for our members is around 4 months. We have had several folks not see any response until after 6 months. Good luck, Addy Group co-owner Remember to discuss any changes to your treatment plan with your own doctor. richard--that is probably one of the things triggering my asthma. Mold and I am sensitive to aspergilliosis. I am taking prednisone, and intal and flovent. Are you taking xolair now? Leigh > > From moderator: Leigh, you posted the same message 6 times. Guest guest
YEAH for your first shot! i don't know if you'll see results as soon as jan 1, but heck, its a great goal!!! congrats on starting xolair!! i feel like balloons should be falling from the ceiling or something special like that!! hehe heather Leigh McCall-Alton <mccallalton@...> wrote: no immediate reaction really other than bp was elevated afterward and I had a headache which went away after a couple of hours. FYI: I took 225 mg and will take another injection in 2 weeks. The pulmonologist hopes I will start seeing results by January 1!!! I also admit to being a little tired but I think that is to be expected coming off a sinus infection, still on antibiotics plus I was up most of the past 2 nights coughing, etc. Leigh Leigh McCall-Alton wrote: richard--that is probably one of the things triggering my asthma.
