Guest guest
Well, I cracked open my homemade strawberry kombucha. It is SOOOOOOOO yummy. I'm so excited. I want gallons of this stuff. I got impatient and didn't let it set until it got carbonated but that's OK - it's still a little fizzy. Kathleen
Guest guest
Please share the recipe. I have 6 kids and it's not unusual for us to go through 1 gallon+ a week. I would love to share something new. Maree Sent from my iPhone

Guest guest
The strawberries get added at the bottling stage. You need to make your kombucha first. When it taste the way you like it then you bottle. I also add a raisin with sliced strawberry (organic) at that stage. I think I put in one big strawberry, sliced. I didn't have my blender or I would have pureed the strawberry but this worked fine and I think I would do it again (add it sliced). The raisin is supposed to make it more carbonated. Then you let the bottles sit out for a few days. But it can explode and glass shards can go flying, so I put mine in a freezer bag, but many people put their bottles in boxes that wine bottles come in with the dividers, some put their bottles in a container and cover with a towel. The bottles should be burped daily or more often depending on how hot the weather is. Kathleen Please share... how did you make strawberry kombucha?
