OK, now here is an interesting one! Did you know you can eat sunflowers?

They are like artichokes! But easier to grow! Too late this season

though, for me.

Last year we had a bunch of wild ones pop up ... but for those of you who

DO have them, here is how to cook them:

Which probably means they can be fermented? Or at least pickled,

like artichoke hearts?
