Winter getaways for a breath of fresh air

Winter is the worst season for me and I suspect for many other

asthma sufferers as well.

Low light levels means more indoor mold.

Cold outdoors means closed up homes with mold spores circulating

around and odors and fragrances accumulating. Shopping malls are

all stunk up with fragrances too.

Cold outdoors also takes away a safety net for those of us that

react to the cold with bronchial spasms.

Also, lots of people are sick and coughing and sneezing those

viruses all over everthing.

So I'm thinking about some winter weekend getaways to a nice sunny

warm dry climate.

Anyone want to contribute to this thread by recommending some good

US location for weekend getaways for asthma sufferers?

Even if one can't get away, it's good to have an escape plan in the

waiting.
