I should be getting a complete list of the ingredients in Primal Defense next week (a good friend is going to the expo down in Florida, and the guy who started Primal Defense is supposed to be there). I too would like to see a list of ingredients of the others, as well as a summary of the process(es) used to isolate the critters. Guest guest
Me too. I think there is too much " stuff " that bothers my allergies, and I have increased trouble breathing with the Primal Defense, but like the probiotic part of it. Of course, I could be reacting to the S. Boulardii in it, as I'm yeast sensitive. Any alternative would be greatly appreciated. Guest guest
Hi, Could someone tell me where you get Primal Defense? Thank you, L
Guest guest
, NEEDS carries it. Price is pretty good, though I did not look around very hard. I get most of my monthly supplements from them cause it's easy, and after $150, they don't charge shipping. Guest guest
Hi All, Here is my contribution to the discussion about soil based organisms. There is a terrific story about the discovery of the first soil based organism which benefits humans at: www.upwardquest.com/web-site-positioning.html Camel dung anyone!? bb

I don't have any camel at hand however... Bacillus subtilis is no more available on sale, it has been recruited to be decoded and its genome is patented... " Bactisubtil " quoted in the article still exists, but is made of (dead?) strains of bacillus cereus. Must be something to stimulate the immune system, which is very different than the subtile eating of bad bugs by B. subtilis... I suggest we look for camels asap Sylvie

Elaine My concern is that in Primal Defense for example one of the soil based organisms is bacillus licheniformis, which has been linked to cancer several times. In my view it's better not to tempt the fates by using this particular oganism, following the cue of the Gastroenterology Journal, which recommends against seeding the bowel culture with large numbers of organisms that are not native to the human body. Guest guest
How can one grow SBO cultures without using dairy products? I have tried Kefir grains in milk but now limit my dairy intake. Regards Les
