Guest guest
I don't do paypal. I can have my bank send you a check, if you send me your address. How much grains will you be sending and how much kefir will it make? I want to try lemon and ginger! Guest guest
I might be interested, but I don't know much about it. There's not much information in the Wild Ferment book. I didn't realize there were different kinds of kefir grains. It sounds like you can't use these for milk? If so, why not, and what do I do with them? Can you send some to Honolulu? Guest guest
you can use them for milk but they will take a time to adapt. They probably started off as milk kefir grains and then adapted to whatever they have now but they can adapt back Sally cocekqueen wrote: > I might be interested, but I don't know much about it. Guest guest
FYI- We have been doing wkg for about 6 months now. My children love it! When we give them to the kids we only let it sit out for 24 hours. So when making my coffee I work on the grains. Not sure if it is known, but do not add fruit until after the grains are pulled/strained out. Re: sugar I use a combo organic white sugar and rapadura combo. About 20% Rapadura and the rest white sugar (per cup). I just pre-mix the sugar and leave it on the counter. Glad to see everyone getting on in. We just love it here in Texas! Anyone try out homemade Kombucha? > > I might be interested, but I don't know much about it. Guest guest
Hi, everyone, i have tried making ginger beer drink with WKG following Dom's instructions. The result is tasty but kind of gluey. Is it still good to drink or is it a sign of smth is wrong? I think it became gluey after the second stage of fermentation when i added a piece of prune in the bottle. So can I still consume it or better stay away from it? Thank you. Guest guest
Thanks for all the help regarding my water kefir questions. I have started another batch and it doesn't smell as strong as the first one did. I'll keep experimenting with it. Robin
