Guest guest
Hi , I hope you checked with your doctor before using the mederma, even though it is an OTC medication recommended be a few of the 'Best' here in the " Big D " area. I think the group is somewhat quiet due to the holidays, and all trying to get started on a new year, after being out of town, having holiday company, etc. I am personally so happy for you, and I think your attitude is now wonderful about your 'new body', etc. I would bet that you're so cute that it doesn't even matter what size you are -- anywhere. You just seem to pass along those kinds of 'vibes'! I continue to admire your tenacity about writing each day, as I feel it will serve you well in time, to be able to look back on what your wrote in your 'journal', and how important it was to share this information with other young ladies. Blessings to you always, MM Martha Murdock, Director National Silicone Implant Foundation Dallas, Texas Headquarters -----Original Message----- From: <carina063@...> egroups < egroups> Date: Wednesday, January 03, 2001 10:32 PM Subject: Patty >Hi there, you can disregard posting for me on Ilenas site as I did it >myself when I got home from work. Guest guest
Hi , So glad to see that you are continuing to post! I have been overwhelmed since the holidays (son home from the Army, went out of town for New Years, end of month stuff to get done for the corporation, end of year stuff to get ready for the CPA, another visitor coming in next week, and I still have to get my Christmas stuff down!) Please forgive me for not getting back to you right away. I don't mean to be quiet....I am trying to forward as much stuff as I can, and post when I can too, but I definitely am not saying all that I want to say! There is so much that I want to be doing, including writing to Barbara Walters, Ricki Lake and anyone else out who needs to hear from me. I am on the 2nd day of a fast right now, planning on going about 3-5 days and then just strictly juicing. We just got a new juicer, a good one (Green Life) which can juice anything, including wheatgrass. I am very committed to eating right! This month is my 3 year anniversary for " getting sick " . I well remember when my head left me feeling like I was on another planet for the first time. It was the most frightening thing I have gone through with my health. I have not been the same since, although I have experienced great improvements over time, and do have many moments when I " feel good " again. But this spaciness hits me hard sometimes and it feels like the first time all over again. I have noticed some pressure in my head in the front area this time. I was feeling GREAT in December--feeling really very good, so good that I decided to give myself a sauna on New Year's Day after my trip, as a treat. I put it on a very low heat (115 degrees) and stayed in for 30 minutes. Big mistake! My brain got screwy in no time flat, and I have been suffering ever since. I went on the fast, trying to get any inflammation to stop, but so far I have been feeling this brain thing horrendously for the last few days. It hasn't helped that I have had to get up at 4 in the morning two days in a row to get my son to the airport (flight was cancelled the first time!), and get my books done for the shop--no rest for my brain! I am really not a very happy camper right now. This experience makes me think for sure that this is a MS type problem, and not a candida one. I know that when I bought my sauna, they cautioned anyone with MS against using one. I have never been diagnosed with MS, so I didn't worry about it. But last March I used it after having felt really great over the holidays, (and had taken a break from using the sauna.) Right after I used it, my head got screwy, and I was scared to use it ever since. I thought just maybe this time, I would see if I could enjoy it again and not have any problems, and I thought with the low heat it would be fine. Not so. I am really upset over that, because the sauna used to make me feel so good, and I doubt that I can ever use it confidently again. I am doing really good in every other way, but my brain is really spacey, and I am getting very, very frustrated about this! I want some answers as to WHY people with MS can't use a sauna!!!!!! I don't want to scare anyone who is healing from explant, because I really have improved greatly in the nearly 3 years since I had mine. But, it just points out the fact that the residual effects may be longer lasting for some than for others. I surely hope that your brain fog goes away completely, , and that you will let me know if you find anything that helps to relieve the spaciness. Thanks for the kind words, . It makes me feel good to know that I was able to help you through this horrible experience. We have shared alot! And it is not over--we have a long way to go together. I was just thinking again today how sad it is that sooooo many women get implants because of shows like Ricki Lake's, and here we are, these women connected on Saline Support who know the TRUTH about saline implant dangers, and yet the media doesn't want to tell our stories. We are scattered across America, hundreds of us suffering daily because we were told lies, being totally ripped off by the manufacturer's and plastic surgeons. It is a hard pill to swallow, when you see others harmed be defective products and getting legal restitution, and yet we have no one to defend us willingly. And the public doesn't really seem to care. They are tired of hearing about us " greedy women " , thanks to the PR spin Dow bought and paid for. My only hope for justice lies in God. Thank God we have each other, and can be connected on the Internet, otherwise, I don't know what I would have done. Everyone stay in touch, write your thoughts....I am thankful for each and every one of you. God bless. Patty
Guest guest
Thanks Caren, I have had a heavy metals toxicity test in 1998, after explantation, which showed high mercury and arsenic. I did chelation therapy for that using DMSA, and hopefully that has taken care of most of the problem. I have still considered doing EDTA chelation therapy, and Dr. Kolb's platinum protocol includes this, so I am thinking of doing a few rounds to see if there might be any improvement. How much does Dr. Royal charge for the Vit C IV? How many grams is it? How about the hydrogen peroxide IV? I've heard about that, as well as using ozone by IV. Sounds scary. How much B12 are you taking in your shot? and B5? Wow, every day???? I have given myself shots here and there, but not every day. Did you notice improvement with that? I am not sure what the R91 and R88 stand for--is it homeopathic remedies? How long have you been working with Dr. Royal on this, Caren? Patty PS I have not heard of Dr. Olson, only Dr. Royal, and we didn't have any trouble getting in to see him.
Guest guest
I have been seeing Dr Royal for 2 months now. I have seen improvements from 2 months ago but now I feel steady not getting worse and not getting better. My shots are 1.0 cc. The vitimin C is two sizes he has a big bag and a small bag. I get the small bag and he adds a little extra C in there, he adds calcium and some other minerals. The small bag is $75 and im not sure about the big bag. The hydrogen proxide is $45. When I go in there it is usually busy with people getting iv and they talk about how well it works on them. My first appointment was like $400 because your first appointment fee then he did some test and a couple shot and then the IV treatments. Im not sure how many the grams are on the bags though.
