Guest guest
My father has diabetes and has been getting progressively worse lately. He was just put on dialysis and told to follow a renal diet. Does anyone know if you can consume kefir, natural yogurt (any kind in particular), KT, beet kvass etc on a renal diet? He has had problems with his potassium being high- do you know if like the fermented salsa would have lower potatssium? What about the bone broths- would they be ok- since I think one of the big bonusses is that the broth pulls minerals (inculidng phosphorus) from the bones nad I think the renal diets say to limit phosphorus?
