Guest guest
The Nourishing Traditions recipe for Kvass says " take a slice of sourdough bread, dry it in the oven, then pour boiling water on it.... " This seems surprising to me -- why bother with a sourdough and then kill anything it might contain? Is this right -- can anyone explain what is going on to me? this is the recipe without beets. The main thing seems to be the bread thanks Sally
