Guest guest
Hello, all, I have been corresponding with by email. She gave me permission to report that her hearing loss has increased to deafness in one ear. It is possible that she may lose hearing in the other ear to the same degree. While her allergist refuses to consider Xolair as a possible cause, the doctor treating her hearing loss as well as her neurologist has/have not been able to rule out Xolair and they have not been able to rule in anything else. Because her progressive loss of hearing coincided with starting Xolair the first time, and with starting it a second time after they had stopped it for a while, the doctor she sees for her hearing believes that Xolair has to be a factor. has several concomitant medical conditions, so it is possible that in her particular case Xolair in combination with some other factor that would not be present in the majority of patients has triggered her deafness, but at the moment they have no way of knowing. Please keep her in your prayers/good thoughts. Thank you, Addy Up since 4:30am with sinus issues
