Guest guest
Hi, If anybody of you have kids and grand kids of 4,5 to 15 or so, this is a good opportunity for home education of microbial nutrition. If you can buy raw Shiitake mushroom at the market, ask the attendant where you can buy or order shiitake mushroom growing bed/pot . You can surely buy/or order the bed, because they are growing shiitake from it. If they are around 20 dollars or so, it is a good opportunity for you to grow/harvest shiitake in your kitchen. Of cause, you will need to pay attention every day for them to grow humidity and temperature consideration. But your investment will be satisfactory and rewarding considering harvesting mushrooms and kids interests in food. You will tell your kids how to take care and the rest left to the hands of them. Everyday is the day of harvesting, you need to trim small sprout of shiitake and put in to your soup or any meal and choose some mushroom to grow in size of your choice. From september to next coming May, shiitake is in constant growth. It is fun to grow shiitake in your home. Just 4 your tip. Isao
