I'm very interested in fermented foods. I haven't had much success with making my own yogurt- though I think maybe I have made yogurt and it just doesn't turn out how I expect it to (somewhat runny, and often it separates). Anyway, the idea of fermenting veggies excites me, and I have " heard " too many people express displeasure in the Nourishing Traditions recipes, so I'm grateful for a resource other than that. I have two kiddos- a 3 yo boy (who has some food allergies), and a 6 mo girl. Hubby is into junk food, but is trying to curb that nasty habit.
