Audrey, getting brown and darker is a normal aging

progress. Tough leathery is another condition that can

happen to even a new baby. I am not sure if that is what has

happened to Practick's or not that's why I was requesting

clarification form him. To see if it was still producing KT.

Ed, Is this actualy mold in 's pictures or just a

productive kombucha? I ask because I have some kombucha that

is

darker, getting brown (think is yeast, like the stuff

hanging...?) So

I am not sure mine ae bad, they even made a baby.
