Hi Beau,

I recently did the brown rice cleanse thing, chewing 1/4 c. every

morning.. ouch, even though I soaked mine, with a little EM (I read

that rice can harbor some bad bacteria), it was still kind of a pain to

chew all that. Anyway, it seemed like I got out little shiny things

that had a peculiar smell while doing that. Then, I got some rice bran

oil and starting taking that with grapefruit juice every morning. It

seemed like the oil had the same effect as the raw rice, actually quite

a bit amplified. I even got liver stones out doing it. Anyone here at

all familiar with the rice bran oil? I'm on my 2nd 5-gallon jug (it's

only $30 plus shipping for 5-gals). It seems to agree with me very

well, and I have a toxic liver (previous hepatitis) that is extremely

sensitive to rancid fats. I'm a little leery of it, though, since

there's so little info out there on it.

Hi Meg,

Glad you chimed in to back me up on the raw brown rice thing..

It sounds very strange to folks at first, but gee what a simple way to

clean out a bit.

Not sure about the rice bran oil..I did think that it went ranicid

easily but maybe it's stabilized somehow? I don't know alot about rice

bran oil except that it's in the bran and rice bran needs to be

stabilized (with heat I think) in order for it to store for very long

without going rancid.

If you are sensitive to rancid oils then I guess you would know if

the rice bran oil you have is good or not?

We're glad to hear these things did some good for you.

I think it's important to share experiences regarding alternative

treatments that might seem very strange at first. We are all trained

up with doctors and pills and often need a leader with experience to

encourage us to try these old-new methods.

Take Care,

Beau

Hi Meg,

I haven't tried the brown rice but it sounds interesting. I'm leery of too

much " roughage " in the colon as I worry that it may do more harm than good

with the irritation an all. I'm still recovering from all sorts of IBS type

problems so to help remove parasitic debris and micotoxins from my colon I'm

more inclined to do enemas. They seem to help me to relieve the gas/bloat

that builds up from the killing action of the supplements.

I LOVE rice bran oil. It has such a nice light crisp flavor and I think it

has a nice ratio of omega 3 to 6 or something... BTW, I'm worried a bit

about my own liver. It's only recently recovered from all the bacterial

infections and medications and I hate to think of it filtering all the

toxins I'm having to ingest on this new parasite cleanse. Your mail reminded

me that I probably ought to cut back on my fat consumption for a little

while? Sheesh!

Hi Beau,

I'm interested to hear if you think this this brown rice treatment is okay

for people with sensitive colons... I'm a bit nervous about so much fiber so

fast? Thanks for all your comments! ~Robin
