Guest guest
[MAP] Wow, pretty neat. What part of the world is this in? I've long been wondering if there was an online vendor for young coconuts, and, voila, there it is! Thanks for sharing this. Not that I'd bother myself, because I can buy them in many stores less than one hour away, but not everyone is so lucky and this topic comes up all the time. Uh, wait a second. <melissas.com> is selling 3 of them for $26.70!!!!!! That's insane. It's definitely *not* worth paying that much. I pay $1.50 a pop at most. Someone should set up a little business selling them at a reasonable price. So, wait, does that mean people go to your local supermarket and buy young coconuts for about $10 a pop? Must be an upscale area! Hi Mike, yes, incredibly expensive through 's. I'm in upstate NY, and shop at Wegman's when I can afford it and they charge me about $2.99 for a coconut. Where do you get it for $1.50? I buy them every couple of months and make coconut juice kefir with the coconut water and then blend the meat with water and a can of coconut milk and kefir that, so it's somewhat economical but really a treat until I can consume regular milk kefir without a problem. Cheers, Dahlia
