Guest guest
oxygen levels Hi Roni, I had this same problem and actually, I am still suffering with it. My doc immediately suspected Iron Deficient Anemia and low Hemoglobin stores. He was right! Hemoglobin carries the oxygen, in your blood, throughout your body. With increased activity, you need more oxygen. My Hgb couldn't keep up and I would get light headed, short of breath, and tired when I try to do much of anything. I am on iron though and it is getting better. A simple CBC with diff. test (blood test) would tell you if you have anemia or low hemoglobin. ~Rose~
Guest guest
This question isn't Xolair related but it is asthma related. For the past few days my dr has me monitoring my peak flows and O2 levels at home and sending it into him electronically through the phone line. My O2 levels have been between 85 and 91. Are those levels a concern? I am actually feeling really good right now and would hate to see where I am when I am not feeling great or when I am turning blue...
