Guest guest
Re:Alternative therapies All I know is that Nov of 96 I needed a transplant and now I am on the inactive list. My secrets? Good health care providors, a healthy life-style (remove stress too) Milk Thistle, Selinium,Alpha Lipoic acid, lecithin and Vit E. No heavy doses of any except Milk Thistle I take 450 mgs. I avoid hard to digest foods (red meat, etc) ad i get my protein from veggie sources. Lets cut out that coffee and cigarette too. I still have cirrhoss, portal vein hypertension, enlarged spleen and Esophageal Varicies. But I live a very normal life. I make long range plans and have a great time in the summer. Healthy Mental outlook- you are what you think. Get aggresive and learn-knowledge is the first line of defense. Everybody is dying-nuff said. God may have promised to heal bodies, but He still said we are all going to die. I find solice in the uncertainity. -Gar " ...I dream then ask why not "

Guest guest
MB: My prayers go out to you for Nonni......didn't realize you had an elderly one living with you too......as if you need the additional strain!! Making a decision like that is never easy....my Dad, God bless him, is almost 87 and still has his own apt. but I often think what would happen if he were suddenly incapacitated!! Thinking of you with a sick 10 yr. old home in bed (HIM, not me!)

Guest guest
Leah: When I emailed that on line doc to ask about Risperdal, that Dr. Leshin, he asked a Dr. Capone for his opinion........that's the one that said Risperdal was relatively safe and that they use it all the time........the side effect I am worried about is relatively rare, they said. You're lucky if you are close enought to get Ashton to see him!!!!! Take care,

I went through so many bras that summer......LOL Donna <<<<<<< HAHAHAHA! Glad to hear we're not alone. But then, these darlin's ARE into tactile sensations! And Donna, I cracked up hearing your description about Ms. Maddie's " Make Ma crazy " routine. I was glad to read that at least a few of your angels will behave in church even if not other places. And We're not the only ones who leave bigger tips in order to compensate for the bigger mess that inevetibley gets left at restuarants. However, I have had more than one waiter tell me that PB's mess was NOTHING compared to some " typical " kids' messes and behaviors! Made me feel better somehow. Sara- I'm looking for the tests that the psych used for PB's eval. Can't find the right pile somehow tonight. I'll get back to you later with them. As to >> I suspect the issue is continuation of services - according to his TSS, >>Elie is the BEST kid she has on her case load.!! That is because he is >>atypical for ASD - after all he is so lovable because of the DS!! Are you screaming yet???>> We also had the psych at the dual-dx clinic question the autism dx because PB was so well behaved there. I told him that that was the result of the last 18 months of hard work- and that we still weren't seeing a reduction of his aggressive behaviors at school. Well, this guy also says " I usually see kids with behaviors MUCH worse than this " . Then he admitted that, " well, but I see your problem- it must get kind of wearing chasing him all day- gee, you never can tell what he's going to do next, can you? " And so far, so good with the risperdol. Ben hasn't even had any marked sedation because we reduced the Clonidine as well. MB

Three pages later he says: Maddie engaged in masturbation two times during the evaluation. He then goes on to describe how she did it. Seem appropriate to you????? UGH!!!!!! I figured that it was because I nursed him, but he stopped when he was 8 months old. Hardly a toddler to remember what was in there. Now I know it was for tactile stim! Guest guest
Georgia hi! Well their are two fizzies in each bag. I charge $3.00 per bag. My everyday molds are smaller so I pack 4 to a bag... Although this particular bunch I am giving to some chatter friends in a swap. I am meeting them in Niagara Falls tomorow afternoon, and spending Wednesday as well. I'm a little nervouse about it, I've never actually met any of these ladies but chat with them almost every nite. Thanks for the compliment!!! Shaye The Soap Shack http://www.mysoapshack.com Re: Digest Number 21 The photo was great. I love the labels. How much do you charge per fizzie? Guest guest
Get thee to a neuroSURGEON ASAP! I'm new to this group Hi everyone Iam new to this group and have had symptons from spinal stenosis for about 4 years but over the past year my problems have become a lot worse with frequent falling down( at least 3 times a day),numbness in upper and lower limbs all the time, right sided weakness and reduced plantar reflexes. I am at the moment seeing a neurologist and have been seeing a rheumatologist for many years.I would value any advice from anyone who has similar symptons as myself as to how they cope on a daily basis. I have 2 children and a husband who help me alot but would like to be a little more independent. Oh and I have been stopped from driving due to my symptons.Although I do have an electric wheelchair whilst I am out. Thank you.
