Guest guest
I started taking XOLAIR about 1 month or so ago. Since then I have had 3 sets of XOLAIR injections in both arms. My IGE must have been real high. You say...that is good!! Well, since then, I have been more congested than ever. I have not slept well at all. I really feel lousey. Because of the lack of sleep, I find it really difficult staying awake during the day. I thought XOLAIR was going to fix everything. I don't think I have improved at all. I can't remember when I was able to wake up refreshed and wanting to start the day. I am just coming off a pulse dose of prednasone because of the congestion. I am tired of feeling so sick and having to take so many pills and injections. I purchased a nebulozier yesterday and used it along with the meds my allergist prescribed for me in the hope it would make me feel better. It loosened up the junk in my chest but made it difficult to expel. I also experienced a sore throat and an extreme about of coughing and wheezing and shortness of breath early this morning. Is this typical? Am I being impatient? Does this all improve and eventually go away? I have read about others who started XOLAIR developing upper respiratory infections. Is this possible? Could this be what is causing all the congestion? Any recommendations?
