Guest guest
I wondered myself about the Xanax, but I was hysterical at that point. I was crying because I didn't know where I was, I was very scared. I guess they just wanted to shut me up instead of comfort me. They had been telling my fiance that he couldn't come back to see me, and they had been telling me he wasn't there. they finally let him in when I didn't know where I was. I don't think I've ever been so scared to wake up and not know where I was. In my own apartment even, I had a hard time with orienting myself. I remember looking around, and all I saw was unfamiliar things. The first time I had figured out I was in a hospital, the second time I had the curtains closed. I heard the lady in the next "room" (curtains separating us) ask if I was okay. She is the one who called the nurse to check on me. The ambulance crew kept saying I got the date wrong, but heck, that could be any day...even today I wrote a check with the wrong date, but I guess I was saying it was 1997 too....I'd be one year out of high school then. I can't believe I remember all this now, but I was so petrified. I'd remember things slowly. First who I was, and then what was going on, where I was, how I was feeling, and my family, and don. I remember asking the nurse to bring me my bird. She laughed, but I was serious. My bird is my best friend. When I came home Tilly (bird) licked my stitches very carefully, as if trying to heal me. She is my prized jewel, don't know where I'd be without her. RE: Outcome of 4/12 appt >Good luck to you Anne. This sure sounds scary....I have the highest expectations that everything will go fine for you. Thank you!! As for this being scary.... it is, but I refuse to shy away from anything because I am or someone else is afraid of what MIGHT HAPPEN. Everyone talks about the very worst happening every time they don't want to do something. I want everyone (including me) to be prepared for the worst, but not to always expect it to happen... if that makes sense. >We're behind you!!! Thank you, that means a lot!! I am sure you will hear more about this in the future. We have our follow up appointment with the actual RM doctor next Thursday afternoon to find out what he has to say about the consultation with the radiologist & the results we got a couple of days ago from the urologist. So if we continue to get the run around from the RM clinic (hopefully AFTER we do the HSG) we will look into seeing a new RM clinic. I really don't want to have to go through all that, but I do want to be a Mom before the change or the century.... lol! Guest guest
Ricky, No problems that we are aware of, you are not showing as bouncing messages and there is no rejected message history for you which indicates the messages are leavening the server. I can only think of two reasons whey you wouldn't get mail and that is A) some sort of filter or block is stopping it or its getting lost between the and the iol server? Other than that sorry mate no idea.... Best Wishes Ian messages Hi Ian/Ross, Is there a problem with the messages from this website as I do not seem to be receiving all of the posted messages. Guest guest
> remember a few people talking about how they get and > answer the messages for this group . . . do you get > them in " digest form " ? Do you copy and paste the > parts of messages that you answer and then delete the > rest of messages? What do you use for e-mail, the web site or download them to your computer into something like Outlook Express? In most email programs there's a place to choose if you wish to include the original message in your reply. Now, if you mean how reply to a message when you get it in digest form, then either way is fine. I, myself, find it simpler to start a new message and copy/paste a line or 2 to reply to, rather than delete the hundreds of lines that don't if I just hit Reply. Mailing lists that I'm active on I never put on digest for this reason - it's a pain in the butt to reply. I keep the ones I usually lurk on in digest and the others as individual. > . . . I'd rather get help from you all then ask > anyone in my house and get the 'eye-rolling' . . . But that's one of the little pleasures of living with kids! I love the Zits comic strip and those times the writer has roll his eyes. My favorite one was when his eyes literally left his head and rolled around the couch, into another room, and then came back into his head. The mother said to the father that he must have asked a really stupid question to get that kind of response. That's my kid, right there! Think is really messing with me. has been really weird the past few weeks as it's changing all the calendars and photo sections. Some people are getting responses up to a week after they've been posted. Guest guest
Also keep in mind, people in this group are not MDs and you should not use this site as a substitute for asking questions to your orthopedic MD. You cannot expect that random people here are better at answering specific questions. That being said, I have also seen people be very encouraging to each other and hopefully you will get the information shich will help you talk with your MD about your specific case. Guest guest
I was thinking it was awfully quiet too. I think we're all busy doing other things. I'll share with you that I mowed the lawn for the first time since my surgery last year. (The lawn's been mowed, just not by me!) Used to be, I'd have to practically take a nap afterward, I'd be sweating and breathing hard. . . now, nothing to it. Guess that's the difference more than a hundred pounds makes.
