Guest guest
Hi Carol I had my first shot 3 weeks ago. Granted I am on the smallest dosage being 1 vial once per month, but I didn't even feel the needle going in, or the Xolair being " pushed in " for that matter! My nurse was commenting on how hard it was to inject the Xolair as she has never injected such a viscous (sp?) solution before. I had no redness, no swelling....nothing!!! I couldn't even tell where it was injected! It might have helped that I have a little extra padding on my arm. As a comparsion, I just received a tetanus shot in that same arm this week (due to slicing my finger on a can while not paying attention!), and that I COULD feel and my arm was still a little tender 3 days later. Good Luck! Pamela __________________________________________________
