Guest guest
Update on : was moved to NE Rehab on Saturday. She is expected to stay approximately two weeks. Nausea has been an issue for her and it was determined yesterday that she is suffering from ileus. As we all know, a very common side effect of surgery. They are treating this and have told her that she will feel better in approx 24 hrs. Due to this, she has not been up, except to sit at the side of her bed. Her pain is being managed quite well, but movement is painful. (sound familiar gals?)She has told her friend Maureen that she would welcome visitors, if any of you live in the area. You may call directly on her phone @ rehab to schedule a time to visit. This is recommended as when her PT starts in a day or two, they work on a different schedule each day and she would be the best person to tell you what a good time would be to see her. The number is 781-935-5050. Press 0 and ask for Room 231. She is in the bed nearest the door. If you would like to send her a card, it can be mailed to: Dougherty c/o New England Rehabilitation Hospital 2 Rehabilitation Way Woburn, MA 01801 D (RI)
