Guest guest
My dear friends, When I first started Xolair, I too thought that every little thing that was wrong with me was because of this new " mysterious " new miricale drug. My itching, my elbow pain, scales (they turned out to be psorysis) All were not due to Xolair. I had a bad sore throat and couldn't sing a few months after starting Xolair. I called my doctor scared that the xolair was the cause. When I saw him, he laughed and said " you only have a bit of a larengitis infection, it's gonna be ok. " After taking some good ol antibiotic's I was fine. My friends, some of my things things came about because I was decreasing my use and dependence on prednisone. No where in the Xolair FDA trials were any of my problems mentioned so, I just relaxed and let the Xolair work. As I have said before in this group; it took me over a year to see any results from the Xolair. Now, having been on it for 3 years. I am no longer depending on Prednisone and only have to use a neb once a day. Rarely do I ever have to use anything else. My advice is for you to trust your doctor. If he/she says to stay on Xolair, do not be afraid to do so. I speak from experience.
