Anyone have a myleogram AFTER revision surgery?

I'm curious to know - has anyone in the group has had a lumbar myleogram AFTER

their revision surgery? Dr. Rand wanted me to have one because I still have the

same neurological pain in my foot that I had before surgery (though it took

several months to regain and then surpass its pre-op pain level.) I went to

Boston (i.e. paid for round trip airfare and two nights at a hotel) only to find

out that they couldn't inject the dye/contrast because the bone grafts put in

during revision were in the way of the needle. The only option left to me is to

have the dye/contrast injected into my cervical spine. However, that's a much

riskier procedure because the spinal cord is there (so I learned something new -

that in the lumbar spine there is no spinal cord just nerve roots) and because

they would have to inject a lot more dye because it has so much farther to

travel to get to the right location in my lumbar area. The radiologist said it

was something that was rarely done. Has anyone in the group ever had

dye/contrast injected at the cervical level?
