Guest guest
I bought a king-size mattress topper at Costco/Price Club several years ago (I think around $150) and I love it. I didn't have a problem with a smell fortunately. My husband isn't fond of the topper but I don't sleep well without it. Recently our house was tented for five days for termites and wood beetles~I got to sleep on an air mattress for 6 nights~horrors of horrors. I went out and after the first night on a queen older air mattress and bought an aero bed mattress by at Target for $120 (double baffles) and slept quite tolerably better. On return to our house, after washing all our bedding to rid it of the gas smells and residue (which they say there are none but we know there is) I sank blissfully into my mattress topper for a glorious nap. We bought a twin size for our son and all his friends love sleeping/napping on it, too. in La Selva Beach CA RE: Re: One turkey wing later...mjh? > HI , > Again, possibly useless info... Guest guest
Thanks, . And here I thought I was doing so well with just stealing the bed back from the woofers! > > I bought a king-size mattress topper at Costco/Price Club several years ago > (I think around $150) and I love it. Guest guest
We purchased our memory foam type mattress topper at Costco for our king-size bed and I LOVE it. When I first lay down, it's like sinking into a cloud. We used to have a waterbed, loved the heat, but my back couldn't handle it anymore and had to change (to the Beautyrest with the individual coils that doesn't move as much). We got a twin mattress topper for our son, and all his friends love laying on his bed. Really cushy, and we need all the padding and support we can get. We also got one for my father-in-law who had tons of health issues along with CFS/FMS, bad disks in neck and back, and he loves his also. in La Selva Beach CA
Guest guest
Hi All, I found a wonderful mattress topper! I find tempupedic or any like kind of foam material very uncomfortable and my husband is allergic to latex, so I had a problem finding a good mattress topper. My mattress is still in good condition in that it is quite supportive, but over time the pillowtop compressed to the point where sleeping was not comfortable. I need to lie on something softer. My new, wonderful mattress topper (sometimes called a mattress pad) is a " Beautyrest GeoMatt Therapeutic Mattress Topper " . I bought it from Amazon.com 2 weeks ago and it was delivered by DesignerLinensOutlet.com. Yesterday it showed up on Overstock.com. You will find it if you google the name I showed in quotes above. Prices generally start at about $87 for a twin and I paid about $120 for a king size. Prices vary depending on the seller, so be careful shopping. It is made out of polyeurethane and is 3 1/2 inches thick. It is specially consructed to reduce pressure. It's breathable so it doesn't make me hot and I can turn over easily. Make sure to look at the product details to get a photograph and specific information. It's constructed differently than any other mattress pad I had ever heard of. This mattress topper is supposedly used by over 5000 hospitals nationwide to prevent bed sores. I just love it. It is super comfortable. My fitted sheets were a little too big for my bed without this matress topper and now they fit just fine. If your fitted sheets have no give, then they won't fit with this 3 and 1/2 inch thick topper. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it. As long as it is returnable, it's worth a try. It definitly solved my sleeping problems. Bonnie
Guest guest
Bonnie, Might be an item to put on the site, make some kind if list of bedding items that work for us. I'm at the point where a new mattress is needed, but this I'm sure will help others. How is the shoulder doing? Still at PT? Hope your holidays were good. I'm hoping for a let up in the cold here, really cold december, the cold is tough on the bones, would rather be where you are, warmer and the ocean! Thanks for the info! Guest guest
My husband and I just bought a Sleep Number bed. It hasn't been delivered yet, but we're hoping it will solve our bed issues. Our current mattress used to be okay, but has been very uncomfortable for the last 1-2 years. He likes a firmer mattress than me, so the dual firmness control should come in handy. We got the adjustable bed, so the head & the feet can raise up like a hospital-style bed can. I hope it's as good as people claim! Bonnie - that mattress topper looks fantastic! I hope it works well for you > > Bonnie, > > Might be an item to put on the site, make some kind if list of bedding items that work for us.
