Todeay happens to be one of the brightest days I've had in 3 years !!! I just

got my first appointment with Dr. Hu at UCSF !!! I almost fell over when I got

the call. Anyway, it's September 23 at 11:30. I'll put it on the calendar.

- The last 3 years have been the darkest days of my life. My botched

surgery caused me to lose EVERYTHING...my marriage, my job, my home, my quality

of life, & at times my sanity. I think the only difference between yours & mine

medical problems is it's your screws...but it's my rods. My surgeon was going

to take the rods out, but leave the screws in. I had to chuckle at your last

post...I refer to my last surgeon as a " butcher " too = ) I hope you are as

fortunate as I am to find a surgeon that is of the same quality as Dr. Hu.

I like to read happy posting like this one. So glad for you.I'll be anxious to hear what he suggest.Yes, I know the feeling that sometimes we feel like everything has been removed from our lives...Yet inside me they can not destroy my love for the Lord and friends. I lost a 32 yr marriage, not healthy enough to work at a everyday job. Allowing myself to fall into depression...where I didn't like myself. So now I feel like there is an addition to my life. Just like people like you who pick me up when I am down and all the others who encourage us to push on.

Each trial makes us stronger. My friend I'm going to be one of your cheer leaders.
