Guest guest
Hi ladies! I am liking this idea more and more. It would be fun to meet some of you! I am from Ohio myself but I have said that many times. I think September would work for me. Please tell me we can leave husbands at home though? *grin* Have a great day! Guest guest
Grammy Pat! I love Tennessee in the fall.. That's a great idea! Let's see how many others would go for it. It would be about a seven hour drive for me. That is nothing in my book though. Thanks, Michele
Guest guest
Hmmmmmmmmmmm. What part of Tennessee? I'd like to check how far it would be for me. I'm in southern NC. So it shouldn't be too far. {{{HUGS}}} & God bless, Bonnie **********************************************With God, ALL things are possible.********************************************** Re:Retreat Grammy Pat!I love Tennessee in the fall.. We were there last year just for a few hours and I am longing to go back for a real visit. But we are forgetting the most important person and that is Rashelle. If she can fit it in her schedule and we can make it affordable I would drive a lot further. I get a nice big bonus around then so it might be doable for me. Guest guest
Hi , I'm from Utah. We go on road trips to Southern California all of the time. I have even been to Kansas once but it was when I was a child and I really don't remember much about it. Gail VW DMWEN wrote: Hey Gail, where are you from? Guest guest
I have seen many posts referring to Retreats. When do you have them and how does one find out about them? Are they religious or scoliosis/back stuff in nature? Avis
Guest guest
Avis, While our retreat site the last two times is an Episcopal retreat site, they lend it out to groups such as ours, and in no way is it religious. We went both times to the Outer banks of North Carolina, Salter Path, to the Trinity Center. It has a gorgeous beach, wooded area, and is just stunning. We all get to sit and meet the gals we speak to online, converse about scoli and our lives. The meals were terrific and were included in the price. The year I went we had a cocktail/ tidbit hour, learned a bunch of fun drinks, and just hung out. We did some sight seeing, a boat trip and saw a Civil war fort, all interesting to me as a west coast gal. Unfortunately I couldn't attend this last one in June, hopefully I can next time. As to when the next one happens, I'd guess in a year or two, it takes a bit of planning, and we found that the Trinity Center met all our special need to a T, and the rates were excellent.
