I had an acdf in June of 09 on c5-7 due to spinal cord being severly compressed am still having alot of issues with pain - tingling - numbness - weakness etc. I applied for disability in March 2010 due to ddd of cervical/thoracic/lumbar spine, cervical myelopathy, osteoarthritis cervical/thoracic, spinal stenosis cervical/thoracic, T6 disc herniation, c2/3, c3/4, c4/5 disc bulging, Chronic Neuro pain - Pain - depression. neuro surgeon wanted to check for MS but neurologist said MRI's don't show signs of MS and believes spinal cord is damaged from being compressed. Just received my first denial letter. It is discouraging to have to fight through pain everyday and for ssd. I have a lawyer who sent in an appeal.
