I'll toast with a glass of wine and you can have grape juice.... Start with some good prenatal vitamins now. If you call your Ob/Gyn I'm sure they will get a script to you. Guest guest Posted July 21, 2004 Report Share Posted July 21, 2004 Its possible that prenatals have changed, but 18 years ago, when I was pregnant with my daughter, I took a look at what was in them. Very little! They had enough folic acid, but that's all. I threw away the prescription and promptly took myself off to the health food store. When you go to the pharmacy, ask to see what's in the vitamins. Maybe by now they are at least adequate, but I wouldn't make any assumptions!
