Guest guest
I'm working everyday even though I take 30 mg of morphine SR three times a day with Vicodin for break through pain. True I am not as effective at my job as I would be without the drugs but I also have gotten my system stabilized now that I've been on morphine for over six months. The Sustained Release (SR) meds mean I don't get a blast of high but the pain just isn't there so that helps my concentration. I'm lucky enough to work for a company that is small enough that they care about me as a human. I get to work from a home office and have my own schedule. As long as I sell, things are fine with my boss. Disabled is also a state of mind and being positive has helped me quite a bit. I don't want to be disabled as I have my house to take care of, my dogs, and all the other activities I like to do. I refuse to let myself give up. I just can't live on what disability would pay me so I just keep going. Ginger Corley >>They know you are in all this pain as evidenced by the strong drugs needed to control it so how is it that they cannot see that we need to be on disability. Does anyone really think they could perform a job on morphine or hydrocodone. I just don't get it. If thats not disabled- what is? << -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
