Guest guest
Hi, As a long-time research assistant in healthcare, I know the perils that can befall such informal polls. Novartis and independent others have listed side effects and there are many research reports that some of us affiliated with universities will happily access for you. If we do conduct a informal poll, I suggest we then compare these results to those obtained by more rigourous means and then ppl can make their own decisions. Alternatively, we can post links to abstracts/scientific articles detailing side effects as long as we repect copyright laws.Just an idea and I am happy to take the lead on providing some non-biased information. Since we are also usually making other life changes at the same time (eg tapering pred) it is very hard to determine if the symptom is a side effect of Xolair or your body's response to other med changes. Without controlling these, you cannot objectively tell. My two cents on the matter.... __________________________________________________
