Guest guest
Hi there, My physical therapist has recently suggested that my symptoms are indicative of cervicogenic vertigo. My neurologist originally diagnosed me with vestibular neuritis, inflammation to the vestibular nerve of the inner ear which can cause balance disorders, nausea, and dizziniess to name a few. Since all of my tests have come out normal, the original diagnosis of vestibular neuritis doesn't apply anymore. I have been 'dizzy' for the past 6 months. I need to turn my head slowly. If I turn it fast, I get dizzy; however, I get that lagging sensation in my eyes when I turn my head slowly as well. I wake up with neck & shoulder pain and tension. I get headaches, a LOT of pressure behind my eyes and in my throat, as well as tender points that migrate every 2-3 days on my head that feel like I hit my head on the corner of the cabinet door. Has anyone been diagnosed and/or treated for cervicogenic vertigo. If so, your input/advice/experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
