Guest guest Posted December 30, 2009 Report Share Posted December 30, 2009 Hi everyone, I don't get to post much, but I'm writing now with great sadness (and also with hope) because I just received news that my dear friend was struck by a car on Christmas Day and passed away that evening. His name is Danny Burnel and 9 years ago he started a charity for people who have crippling hand pain and can't work. I met Danny about 2 years ago (on a discussion board about carpal tunnel syndrome) and because of his help I'm pain free, at least in my hands. The charity he started (called the Hand Pain Society) supplies FREE medical and therapy services, mostly to the disadvantaged, so they can return to work. The charity put up a memorial site to help keep his mission going. But that's now in jeopardy with his passing. His family and freinds are hoping people will visit the site and tell others about it.
