Guest guest
Hi Cam,Thanks for your encouragement...I always appreciate it. Dr.Bridwell didn't really suggest anything to promote the bone growth, but if you have any suggestions, I'd be grateful to hear them. And yes, those bleachers aren't very comfortable! I usually have my "game" chair in my trunk. We definitely have an increase in games this year, my 11 year old is playing travel & intramural baseball, and my 9 year old is playing lacrosse. I remember being in sooooooo much pain last year, I couldn't get to the field without someone helping me with my chair, bag, etc... (and I usually left with some tears). I am so very thankful to be able to attend the boys' games, and feel physically up to it!Have a great night...From: cammaltby <cammaltby@...> Sent: Mon, April 5, 2010 8:30:29 AMSubject: [ ] Re: 9- months post revision with dr. Bridwell , Congratulations on your progress! It is really great to hear that you are doing well, and pretty much accomplishing most of the "motherly" things we are called upon to do....sitting in a cold spring bleacher seat being the main one....yikes! It must be somewhat unnerving to have to wait another 6 months to answer the question of the need for more surgery. I am sorry you have to endure that. What "bone building" techniques are you doing? Do you some kind of medication or is it diet and exercise? Take Care, Cam
