Guest guest
LOL!!!!! I'll contemplate upon the magnitude of the situation, but this is a hard act to follow! You just made my day, Of course I amuse easily! (next time I visit my Dr, I'm going to use all of these terms in a conversation like everybody should know them, and then look at him with confusion on my face when he wonders what I'm talking about, I'm so excited!) Guest guest
SOP - short on patience, either from evil candy mood swings or from being SOB and tired of people asking you to repeat yourself b/c they can't hear you b/c you are SOB and don't have enough B to talk properly. Puffy face - refers to facial swelling caused by gross inflammation from sinus infections and/or evil candy. Lightweights - refers to people who have mild, intermittent nasal allergies and complain about not being able to breathe or tell you that they understand how you feel. > > Hello, > > To avoid confusion, I have begun a glossary.... > > putty = goopy mucus lungs produce. Guest guest
Sr. , Ready for your next Asthma Walk? We have started planning it here in Florida for September. I was so thrilled when you were able to walk it last year! As for everyone else in the group. The American Lung Association in your area are starting plans for the fall Asthma Walks. Some places have Spring walks. Please get involved. Call them or visit them on line at www.lungusa.org. They can use your help, ideas, and/or your participation in the walk itself. This is one of the ways we are going to find a cure so that our children & grandchildren have a better life without asthma. Thanks for letting me run an add. I am currently on the State board in Florida and am the President of my local board. I am passionate about lung health and want the whole world to be better. Guest guest
Yes, Pat, I have the next date for the Asthma Walk it is October 1. I am going to try to get the pictures of me in last years and put them on the site. I am going to try to get the towels on a site some where and have a way for others to see them.... Thanks for your encouragement... I don't get much from the nuns.... As always, Sr. Volz, C.R. PS. I made it through Easter without incense and stay away from the lillies and hyicthyns (those smelly small flowers.) That send me in asthma attacks. No evil pills or hospital stays.
