Guest guest
wow, you go girl! Is Val D in NEBH? Robin > > I cannot believe it has been almost six months since my revision surgery with Dr. Rand. My post op is tomorrow and hopefully i will get the ok to begin physical therapy. I also hope to drop in to see D too. Soo I am really doing great!! I just went to South Carolina with my husband and walked for miles without any pain.. I would just get fatigued and my legs would get sore before my back did.. Amazing!! Pain meds if i take a couple of tylenol in a day it is a lot. I still have some pain in my neck and shouldars and plan to discuss this with Dr. Rand tomorrow. He did an MRI on my cervical spine a few days before surgery and we never have discussed the results. I am hoping that my muscles are just all weak and pt will help.. Any surgery is NOT on my to do list for many years to come!!! > I am all set to go back to work teaching my little pre-k kids at the end of August. I cannot wait to get back into life again. I will update you all after my appointment tomorrow. > >

Guest guest
, Happy Anniversary! This is a biggie....so enjoy it! I know we are all looking forward to hearing how your appointment goes tomorrow and hope that you get the go ahead for PT. If you are feeling good now you will probably continue to see good progress for the next couple of years. It seems like a long time line, but most of us have found that we make gains well into 3-5 years out. Please give Val a big hello from us all.... Take Care, Cam
Guest guest
, All I can say is ditto to what Cam said. I can't wait to reach that landmark. Although, Dr Rand has kept me close with weekly visits until 2 weeks ago, and now every 2 weeks to keep an eye on my incision. So, it's hard to tell where my milestones would be. Although I thing I am 2 months behind you? Glad you are doing well! Robin > > , > > Happy Anniversary!
