, thanks for that information on thoracic surgeries. I know a lot

about lumbar problems and have heard about cervical fusions, but not too

much at all about your issues. It sounds like you have a lot of spine

concerns with not many happy ways out of your situation. I knew generally

that thoracic surgery was more difficult, but had only general information

as to why. I didn't know until I did my own research on lumbar fusions

that the spinal cord ends before it reaches the lumbar spine. I can see

why you and your doctor would be hesitant to operate.
